This website, pinakinsoni.com, is run by Pinakin Soni (“I”, “me”). This page explains what information I collect when you use the site, why, and what choices you have. You can reach me at soni@pinakinsoni.com.

Information you give me

When you use the Connect form, the free assessment form or the AI discovery form, you send me your name, email address, phone number, company (if you add it), and the details you write about your project or systems. I use this only to reply to your request and to follow up about it.

Information collected automatically

  • When you submit a form: your IP address, the approximate location derived from it (city, region, country) and the date and time. This helps me spot spam and understand where requests come from.
  • When you visit the site: simple first-party visitor statistics: pages viewed, the site you came from, device and browser type, screen size, language, IP address and approximate location.
  • Google Analytics: I also use Google Analytics to understand overall traffic. Google may set its own cookies.

Cookies

  • pk_vid: a random visitor ID that lets me count returning visitors (kept up to 1 year).
  • pk_sid: a random session ID that groups one visit together (30 minutes).
  • Google Analytics cookies, as described by Google.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on. The site still works without cookies.

Emails

After you submit a form you receive a one-time confirmation email, and I may reply to your request. I do not send marketing emails unless you ask for them, and I do not sell your information.

Who else sees your information

  • My web hosting provider, which stores the site and its data.
  • Google, which provides the email service used to send and receive messages and the Analytics service.
  • A location lookup service that receives your IP address to return an approximate city and country.

I share information with others only when the law requires it or to protect the site from abuse.

How long I keep it

Messages and form details are kept for as long as needed to respond and for reasonable business records. Visitor statistics are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask me to show you, correct or delete the information I hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email soni@pinakinsoni.com and I will respond within a reasonable time. If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, you also have the rights set out in data protection law, including the right to complain to your local authority. I rely on my legitimate interest in running this site and on your request when you contact me.

Children

This site is for business visitors and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect information from them.

Security and international use

I take reasonable steps to protect your information. Because the site and its providers operate internationally, your information may be processed in countries other than your own.

Changes

If this policy changes, I will update the date at the top of this page.
